Occasional Helpers and Sectional Assistants Please read an important clarification about the difference between the roles of Occasional Helper and Sectional Assistant within Scout Groups. (NB: This applies to England, Wales and Northern Ireland only) Changes to paddlesports guidance We’ve improved and updated guidance for paddlesports operating within the permit scheme. This includes integrating the UK Coaching Certificate qualifications used by the British Canoe Union. The changes aren’t massive, but they should add some clarity while still ensuring activities remain safe for our Members.
